WACOM Volito tablet

I downloaded the Wacom driver 5.01-9 for my Vista PC.
But the tablet seems far less responsive than on my XP machine.
Clicking is less reliable, I get a click sound but no click action in the
software.

In control panel, the pad appears as a "HID_Compliant Wacom mouse" and not
as a tablet.
But the Wacom specific tablet control panel is there and I can set it to
tablet mode.

Do I need to do anything to make it work better?
