Camera Driver Causing BSOD
I bought a Logitech Quickcam for laptops about half a year ago, and it has
always given me problems, especially when using it with Windows Live. I
simply can't get through the Webcam setup without Data Exclusion Prevention
stopping me. It says it shuts Window Live down, but it doesn't, and when I
connect using the web cam, my master volume changes whenever the mic built
into the webcam picks up sound.
If anyone could help me with that, it would be great, but recently it has
been giving me another issue of giving me the BSOD randomly, and the only
help the Solutions thing gives me is that it is a camera driver error. I'm
sure the drivers simply don't agree with my machine, yet my fiancée runs the
same webcam with Vista and has no problems. The BSOD has only happened today,
before I downloaded the newest patches as well as after. Why would it just
now start giving me them? How can I get DEP to stop freaking out about my
webcam with Windows Live? How do I fix it all?
Thank you kindly for your time.
