Monitor or Monitor Driver?
I am clueless about these things. Here goes. I left the computer on
overnight, and it was showing the log on screen. This morning, the computer
was on but the monitor would show nothing. I pressed on the keyboard and
moved the mouse, but the log on screen stayed black, save for the browser
pointer. Any ideas why?

Re: Monitor or Monitor Driver?
The computer went to sleep, and like my motherboard yours can not awake the
computer. It is likely due to an older implementation of the ACPI specs used
by the M/B. Turn off the power and repower the computer. Disable the sleep
properties in your power configuration.

Re: Monitor or Monitor Driver?
Thanks, Richard. Can you point me to the place where I disable the sleep
properties? I am not familiar with it.

Re: Monitor or Monitor Driver?

Richard, I found the power configuration and it currently shows that my
computer never sleeps ...
