MS Fingerprint reader
Is there any way to get rid of the fingerprint icon while working with the
Sidebar gadgets? It is very distracting, blocking the controls and has no use
in gadgets.

RE: MS Fingerprint reader
I seem te be able to reply with a solution on my own post. After some
experimenting, setting
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DigitalPersona\Applicat ions\OTAppSettings\FeedbackIconPosition to 'None' solved it.

SOLUTION
This is from the following link:
Fingerprint reader and Vista Sidebar - Technology Questions

After unsuccessfully trying all the different solutions, I have finally come
up with a fix that works (at least for me) with the whole fingerprint reader
and vista sidebar issue.

I suggest backing up your logons before trying this fix.

To fix:
1) Login to your Fingerprint Logon Manager
2) Find and remove any logons with the word (Obsolete and a date) next to it.

That did it for me.
