Microphone
In trying to set up Skype with a friend using a Mac Book, I am having
problems with getting my voice(or sound) to transmit to him unless I use a
plug in microphone. He says my computer should have a built-in microphone.
I have Toshiba Satellite. I can't determine how to verify there is no built
in device. Speakers are great.
Any suggestions?
thanks

None that I can say/write in polite company.

Does RTFM mean anything to you?

Does the name of this group look like:

toshiba.support.hardware_devices?

have one....

Re: Microphone
Thanks for being so helpful.
You sound just like a person I used to work with.
Man, it makes retirement wonderful as everyone can't be so smart.

While "Big D" might not have been very helpful, (s)he did have a valid
point: this is a P2P support group for discussing the Vista operating
system, not for discussing Skype and not for getting answers to
questions about Toshiba laptop components.

Re: Microphone
Also it would have helped if you stated what model Toshiba you have and if
you were able to find any information about a microphone in your Toshiba
users manual.
