Intel 910/915 Express Chipset
Does anyone know where I can find the Beta driver for the Vista Beta, that
would run the Intel 910/915 Chipset?
There was one but now its gone. Intel is saying that graphics card can not
run the WDDM needed to run Aero desktop, which is a bunch of crap because it
ran fine in the Beta version on the beta driver. This laptop is only 6
months old and Im damn sure not buying another after spending 160.00 on the
upgrade.

Intel has decided not to support that chipset with a wddm driver. They say
it is for performance reasons. Many people have a different opinion that it
is for marketing reasons. I ended up selling my computer with that chipset
and buying one with a newer chipset to use with Vista.

But... I got a Intel rep to tell me the development may be in the works soon
due to overwhelming demand.
The Beta drivers worked fine so I know it can happen. I personally think
this was just a marketing thing that went bad.

well thats strange you r ment to get it from the Intel site.,must be on the
site some were surely.cos if what you r saying is right? theres no way of
dowloading it from the site.you could wait intill thay have a newer version
then download it.

I hope you are right. I wouldn't hold my breath. People who think Microsoft
is arrogant should try getting information out of Intel :-)
