Vista x64 eSATA Issues
Has anyone been successful on getting Vista x64 to recognize an eSATA drive?
I've tried motherboard connections and 3rd party hardware, and nothing is
ever recognized. Even tried a supposed hotfix from MS (sorry no link)
without luck.

Nothing shows up in the management area, and all other SATA drives operate
fine and BIOS is set to AHCI SATA.

Any suggestions??

Re: Vista x64 eSATA Issues
I have had no issues with eSATA drives on my x64 machine.

Do you have the latest drivers loaded for your controller? Have you gone
into device manager and "searched for new devices"?
