C:\windows\inf\INFCACHE.1 is probably corrupt -- a common problem, it
seems. The fix is to delete it, which requires one simple trick.
In explorer, right-click on INFCACHE.1 and go to the securities tab.
Edit the permissions to give full control to the Users group, then you
can delete the file.
