Hp LaserJet 3050 scanner wont work....help!!!!

all functions work perfectly, printing, faxing, and copying.

whenever i try to scan this message pops up: " There is no
TWAIN-compliant device installed. please install one and try again"


i don't know what to do.

Did you install as per HP instructions?
Have you tried HP support?, they have instant chat available

It will copy - which uses scan - but it won't scan.

How are you trying to scan? From inside another app?

You need to make sure you've installed EVERYTHING that came with that
device.

The full driver package is at:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&swEnvOID=2093

You may also need to undate the firmware.
