BIOS Help

I need to do a CD/DVD Boot and I cannot find the option in the BIOS Boot
Menu. Is there any other way to do this?

How old is your computer?

Maybe you can't boot from an optical drive (hard to believe, but it's
possible).

Not very old, I just got it about 2 months ago. Its a Sony VAIOS (laptop) I
don't have the model number because my msinfo32 is not starting (vista bug..)
for some unknown reason.. But it is one of there latest models.

Some computers have hit F12 at startup to go into Boot Order! Change it there.

BIOS always has boot order in there. You just have to look in ALL places!

Then you most CERTAINLY have a way to set your BIOS to boot from an
optical drive.

Consult your manual or go online to find out how to get into your
computer's BIOS.
