Unable to run simpletech hard drive
I am a MS Vista user, and I have a 500 gb simpletech external hd. I was able to use the hd a few months back without a problem, however,
when I tried to use it today, it asked me to install a software driver
for the device. I dont remember it asking me this the very first I tried
to use hd, and it worked just fine then. The system is not able to find any driver, and there's noneon the official website. I have given full rights to the account, confirmed that .inf file is in the right place, but it still doesnt
work. In the device manager, it says, "This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)". I am able to run pen drives without any problem. Can anyone give any suggestions plz?
