Games in Slow Motion When I Activate DirectX 10

Hi all:

My computer:

Motherboard:
Asus P5E

Processor:
Intel Core 2 Duo
(http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sSpec=SLA9V)

Graphic Card:
NVidia GeForce 8800GTS 320MB

RAM Memory;
4GB DDR2 667MHz

It's always lagging, even with DX9, but when I try DX10 it lags completely
the game, I cannot even move the mouse.

Is there any solution?
