yahoo webcam

When i try to send my chat buddy the request to view 'my' webcam..a window
pops up saying that my webcam is not connected...i have a laptop and the
webcam is built in..please help me..

What laptop? Make and model? What OS? XP or Vista? Have you updated to SP3/SP1?

I had same problem with my built-in HP Webcam NOT working in Vista HP after a QuickPlay update screwed it up (HP DV9500 CTO laptop). However, after I updated to Vista SP1 last week, it's back working just fine as is my USB Webcam also. Give us the specs on your system and I'll see what I can come up with.

Well Bob..it is a toshiba P205-S7469 Windows Vista..do i got to my windows
updates?
