I've got an Audigy LS model # SB0570 under Vista home premium.

This worked for me; had 2.1 sound before and now have 5.1! Frustrated
for about two months until I got the below file. 99.9% certain it'll
fix your problem

You need this file from the Creative website:

SB24_VTDVR_LB_1_04_077.exe
