sidewinder wheel
is there a driver for vista x64 for sidewinder wheel? becouse i'm placking
the usb and the windows report it as an aknown device!!!!!!!!! and microsoft
don't even mention something about this!!! if anyone knows something plz help

I doubt there is anything.... you might try to see if you can select
something in the Control Panel, Gaming Devices, but Microsoft stopped
manufacturing the Sidewinder gaming devices in about 2001 and there were no
drivers for even 32-bit Windows XP, let alone 64-bit XP. Partial
functionality was achieved in 32-bit XP by the built in drivers.

Surprisingly, my old Force Feedback joystick still works for many games, and
most importantly for Flight Simulator X.

Rich, Please tell me more.
I am evaluating FSX after a long leave from gaming. I have the old FFB Pro stick with 15 pin game port and a hot rod Vista computer.
1) Are you using WinXP or Vista?
2) Do you have game port or USB version of joystick?

If you have WinXP I guess I'm back to square one. If you have the USB version I can hit eBay for one of those.
