well the bad news is the scanner may not work with Vista but the good news
is you get to buy a new scanner that does. This was also one of the problems
with xp when it first came out.
Some manufactures would not write drivers for their pre-xp scanners but some
did.
I had to purchase a new printer/scanner for vista because Lexmark would not
write
drivers for the x75 I had. So I now have a Cannon MP470 which works fine
with Vista and the
ink is cheaper. Lexmark lost a customer because of this.
