Random reboots & BSOD

I have a custom built machine that used to run XP, with all the latest
patches packs etc, and it was very stable and usable.

I bought the Vista Ultimate 64bit and formatted my RAID array and
completed a clean install, no problem.

However, it became apparent that there was something seriously wrong as
the PC new randomly reboots. It can be sat idle, and reboot! I took
advise and switched off the 'automatic reboot' "feature" (ha!) to aid
in the solution, but unfortunately the BSOD's I've been receiving
haven't helped much.

I'm certain I can rule out the PSU as I bought an after market one.
The RAM too is 2GB of Corsair, so I'd like to think I'm safe there.
The GSU is a Nvidia 7600GT (Galaxy) I think, and I have installed the
latest drivers (100.65).

Hopefully, problem solved!

I kept getting the ''Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA
THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078)'
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=293078)' error whether the PC was
sat idle or I was using it. Checking my logs, my best was 12 reboots
in one day. Not bad I think you'd agree!

After much trawling I stumbled across a solution that recommended
entering the nVidia Control Panel and disabling both the
'Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration' and the 'Threaded Optimisation'.
I did as yet no reboots, even after several hours of use with
Dreamweaver, iTunes and Photoshop all open at once. I even had a quick
game of Hold 'em and no BSOD.
