Microphone

Hello. I recently purchased Windows Vista, and have had an error with my
microphone. I have my microhone setup through a push-to-talk button, as if I
was to program a key on my keybored and my microphone would turn of for all
to hear. Programs that Vista recconize's, or are commonly used like Internet
Explorer, MSN, TeamSpeak, my microphone will work. But, programs like Xfire,
Call of Duty, FTP Client, my microphone does not work. This is extremely
fustrating because if I am playing a full screen, I cannot use my microphone
with other in-game players. I would have to minimize the program, and bring
up my communications program (teamspeak) for my microphone to work. It might
have something to do with my Sound Driver, SoundMAX Digital Audio, but if
this continues to occur with no fix/patch, I will be soon to go back to XP.
