Vista failing to recognise a sata drive in explorer

Hi there,

I have just installed a new SATA Samsung 500g drive into my computer. This
is the second SATA drive. The device manager recognises that the drive is
present but I can't see it in Windows explorer. All my drivers are up to date
can anyone help me please?

Partition, format and assign drive letters in Disk Management.

Use Vista's Help and Support for guided help to do this.
