What you don't want to do is reduce video memory. You want to increase RAM.

Re: video card memmory shareing
Typically, that is set in the system BIOS. To change the setting, enter the
BIOS setup as the system starts up. Locate the appropriate setting make the
change, save the change and exit. See your computer manual whether on a CD
or on the maker's web site.

As Mike wrote, you really want to increase the system's memory. So, look at
this as a short-term solution. If you decrease memory too much, you might
see various video problems such as pixilation on fast changing scenes, frame
freezes or hesitations, blurring of objects.

Re: video card memmory shareing

*Hi.

But I have 3 GB RAM, an NVIDIA card of 128 MB, but Vista is taking 1250
MB from RAM...
this is too MUCH...

I have to take some back for RAM. I don't want to use 1.5GB on video.

So I have only to go to BIOS and configure there?

Also what is Vista Aero??

Thanks.*
