Vista Ultimate Fax & Scan support for Super G3 (V.34)

I have a Multitech MT5634ZPX-PCI-V92 modem. This modem is fully capable of
sending and receiving faxes at 33.6 kbps (V.34 Super G3). I am planning an
upgrade to Vista Ultimate but preliminary responses tell me that Fax & Scan
does not support V.34. My current fax program (Phone Tools) does but they
are not producing a Vista-compatible version probably due to this new
Microsoft module.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I doubt anyone here can.

Microsoft Fax products support Fax Class's 1 and 2 which are limited to
V.17 (14k4) only.... so no, you will not get support for V.34 with
Multitech's modems.

Mainpine's new IQ Express Fax cards will include support for V.34 on
the Vista and Longhorn platforms.
