The very first thing I would do is upgrade that power supply. 300 watts
is just a bare minimum for even what you are currently running.
As for an upgrade for performance, RAM should be first on your list.
With prices for DDR2 at an all time low, you can pick up another 2 GB
for ~$50 or so. Add a decent power supply (can be had for ~50, sometimes
after rebate, for a 500 watt Coolermaster). That leaves about $100 for a
video card. Depending on how much you game, you can pick up a mid-range
ATI or NVIDIA card for about $100 (8600 or 8800 from NVIDIA are great
cards). That would really up your system to a very noticeable
difference when gaming or just everyday work.
