Conflict in assigned drive letters
I am trying to get my MP3 player (Sansa m230) to work in vista, and I
have made a lot of headway, but...
When in normal use (moving music in or out, and playing) it seems to
work fine. In windows explorer it shows up as drive "J". When I switch
the device internally to "MSC" mode (required to update firmware) it
shows up in explorer as drive "K" and I get an error message-
"Exception Processing Message 0xc0000013 Parameters 0x75F7023C
0X84061E2C 0x75F7023C 0x75F7023C"
This error refers to a conflict in assigned drive letters, so I opened
disk manager and tried to reassign the "K" drive, but to what? "J" was
not an option given to me, so I gave it a random assignment of "M" which
did nothing to help the problem.
Not sure how one device ends up with 2 assigned drive letters but TIA
for any ideas on solving this.

the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
