Mic

im having trouble with my mic to work. My sound is sigmatel audio. For some
odd reason for recording i have a front mic and rear mic. Both dont show
green tick when i talk into the mic. Im using a headset at the moment and
its plugged into the front of the computer.

I had a similar problem and found that the 'Front Mic' won't work if there is
a plug in the 'line in' socket at the back. I think it can only cope with
one inoput at a time…
