Vdmdbg.dll is Missing

Hi,

I have been searching around for this file on the net and I have yet to
find a legit place that you can retrieve the fild vdmdbg.dll
6.0.6000.16386 (vista_rtm.061101-2205). I have used HijackThis and
other various programs to find and destroy or fix bad files and was
hoping that this file would restore upon a nice clean-up, no such luck.
I do not have a vista operating cd as per one did not come with my
laptop and I lost my backup cd. Without the dll things like task
manager does not work.

I have tried running sfc /scannow but it fails at 20% everytime with a
read out of: Windows Resource Protection could not perform the
requested operation.

Does anyone have a Vista vdmdbg.dll file they could send me or does
anyone know a site that I can download the file?
