System Registry

I need help. I am getting an error when I turn on my laptop. The error is
"error accessing the system registry".

What could I do to solve this problem?

Hi,

Chances are good that it is not the operating system that is having a
problem, but rather some software that you have installed that is trying to
load at boot. Run msconfig from the start/search line and begin disabling
lines on the startup tab, rebooting in between, until you isolate which one
is causing the problem.
