I have run various trusted antivirus programmes aswell as the windows help.
The problem report has come back as having a hard disc drive error, but we
have not used the disc drive? does anyone no how we can stp the msg from
coming up?

A hard disk error has nothing to do with a virus, something is telling you
your hard drive may be failing.
The disk drive is in use when your using your computer, why would you think
your not using it?
Download and run the hard drive mfg's diagnostic utility to test the drive.
