Vista-No audio out device error

Help! I am pulling my hair out here! I have upgraded from WXP to Vista. I
need a file that will recognize my audio driver for Vista. The audio worked
just fine when I was running XP but when I go to look for any compatible
device driver for Vista I am finding none.
I am using an Dell Optiplex GX260... On Dell's website I cannot find any
drivers for Vista for this computer, the highest they go is XP.
I have searched in the device manager to update the audio output device and
nothing is found on my computer or the web. Any ideas??? Thanks!

issues that customers face with Dell products. I read your question and
wanted to help.

Unfortunately the integrated sound card on the Opti GX260 doesn’t have
Vista compatible drivers for it. You would need to install a sound card
for this system that works with Vista. I would suggest doing a little
research online to find the right sound card for your needs. If adding a
card isn’t a possibility, reverting back to Windows XP would be your
next best bet. I hope this helps.
