Unable to print

Computer: Gateway MT6705 Notebook Pc
Printer: HP Photosmart C6180
This printer is located remotely. It was working and then one day when I
tryed to print I get a window that says "Save the file as". The suggested
file type is *.xps. I can not print now. The "save to file" is unchecked.
Please help!!!
