Outlook and Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows

This may not be the discussion to ask this question but I will give it a
shot. Recently I installed Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for
Windows Vista (32-bit) for use with my Dell Axiom 51v. This is on my laptop
running Vista Ultimate. Since the installation Outlook performs very slowly
and is very sluggish. This includes lags on the screen of the type while
composing messages and in opening or deleting mail. Has anybody else
experienced this and more importantly, does anybody have a fix? I tried
uninstalling Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows Vista
(32-bit) by using the Windows software removal tool but there are obvious
signs of the app in the registry as calendar reminders still pop up.

Basically everybody with any PDA will have problem syncing with Outlook.
Problem is in Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1. This issue is too big for
Microsoft to ignore.
Emailing or talking to MS support out of India is tatal waste of our time.
