The correct sequence for installing a new video card is to set all back to
standard VGA.
Stop the machine replace the video card and point windows to the needed
driver start after the restart.
In your case the card is already in, set it back to standard VGA first.
Reboot and after reboot let it install the new drivers, that way there will
be no conflict blocking the update from the drivers to the driver store.
