Any issues with dual monitor setup?

Just checking whether there's any issues with dual monitor setup before
I get my flat panel fixed and use it as a second smaller monitor.

I've been using my laptop's built-in screen as a secondary monitor with an
external monitor as primary for months. It works very well.
