Rechargeable mouse

What do you think which one is battery/electricity saving?
Mouse use batteries (AA) or sit on rechargeable cradle?

mine plugs into a USB port from a cable attached to his nose.... it's a
wireless mouse with the USB connection only for charging purposes.

Go rechargeable. Less landfill worries and lower cost replacing batteries,
balanced by higher initial cost for rechargeable system. Wattage should be
comparable so electricity usage should be the same... more or less.

transformer
