Lexmark printer won`t work with vista

:roll: Hi

Afraid to say i don`t know a lot about computers but have just bought
a new one and my lexmark Z640 printer now wont work. i have the disc
for it and it shows up in my printer section states it is ready but
when I try to print states it is not cennected or can not connect, Can
any one help ? many thanks

go to lexmark home page and look for vista drivers

If that fails, it's worth looking at your printer's USB cable - it could be
damaged enough to register on your PC but not actually print. It's happened
to me quite recently. Swapping the cable fixed everything.

Hay i dont think it is Vista as my XP is doing same things i reset spooler and now it is up to same stuff only uses differnet things i think it may have to do with lexmark making it happen too or maybe microbrains up to no good again
