Dell 942 printer - need general driver

I have a Dell 942 printer and the Dell site say's there will not be a
printer driver ready till April. Is there any general printer drivers that
will work for printing with this printer? Hate to have to buy a new printer,
but I don't want to wait over 40 days to do some printing..

I take it you upgraded and don't have the older XP PC still available?
Nothing I'm afraid until Dell get their act together.

Dell printers are made by Lexmark. Browse the Lexmark product line and find
a printer that looks similar to what you have. Then check their Vista
compatibility chart.
