for ATI green screen flicker....
If you were having the same problem i was with getting a green and black
flickering screen some times on a HDTV or something other then a monitor. i
found that it mostly happened when there was to much White/bright of a
screen. just down load 7.2 driver and goto and bring down the Brightness and
Contrast a little. then check it with a totaly or mostly White pic in full
screen. where you can fip to it and away from it easy then having to open the
taskmanager to limit the amount of White on the screen. then ajust thoughs
things down slowly till the flicker is no longer there. then you can if its
to dark for you upp thoughs things in your TV settings, although it wont be
as good though. I found this happens cuase Vista auto ups the
contrast/brightness and i cound not find a way to turn it off even though it
says you can.
this may work for Nvidia cards as well but i hate Nvidia cards for non
momitors cuase the just blow. with ATI you can hook up a TV in anyway and
also can hook up a VCR or DVD and such and capture video, even from a
camdorder form any card but TV from only All-in-wonder cards. not to mention
you can ajust the screen size to fit your TV's resolution if you over size it
first. Nvidia your stuck with what they give you witch is either bigger or
smaller then your TV losing or not taking up the hole screen.
