Hi,
Check to see if there is an updated driver for the controller cable from the
manufacturer of the device. Normally I would also tell you to reseat or
replace the controller cable as well, but as it is a notebook this may not
be practical for you. You may need to bring it to a shop for this, check to
see if it's under warranty and if so, get a work order created. Otherwise,
find a reputable local pc repair shop (meaning not your local equivalent of
an office superstore, but a real repair shop) and have them do it for you.
