Assuming this is a retail version of Vista, you need only install the
compatible hardware. You may be required to activate once again and it's
possible you won't be able to activate over the internet. If that is the
case, simply re-run activation but at the appropriate screen, choose the
activate by phone option. After going through a few phone options, you will
ultimately get to a human, explain what you have done and they should
activate over the phone.
