MCE vista need focus to receive IR signal
Hello

I cannot understand why Media center need focus and windows media player
not.

Please tell us the real reason for it. the COMMERCIAL reason.

Because a MEDIA CENTER PC is designed to be an APPLIANCE and not a
workstation.

If you're using Media Center, then it should have the focus.

Kinda a dumb arrangement, but that's how it's designed to work.

MCE uses VRM9 Renderless/exclusive mode to give you the best possible video
, which makes running two monitors a bit of a pain. Media Center doesn't
have the tearing that Media Player can display because of it's use of a
overlay renderer. I run multiple monitors on one PC and accept the draw
backs of MCE's use of VRM9 rather then suffer from using overlay for the
display.
