Vista vs HP Photosmart 8230

Hi,

I have a HP printer Photosmart 8230 and everytime when I connect the printer
to my laptop, which is running with Vista Home Premium, the printer spooler
is stopped. I've downloaded the related driver and also, updated my Vista,
but nothing helps.

I need my printer, so, anyone has any idea how to fix this problem?

reporting tool that will find computers on a network and determine if they
