vid driver install failed
Vista Home Premium 32-bit system nvidia driver install failed to recognize
system as 32 bit will not update drivers in turn will not run a few programs
i need. anyone have any help on this one?

It took 2 people to write this? The period is your friend.

Uninstall the driver. Remove the card from Device Manager and reboot.
It will detect it again and re-install the driver.

So... if it won't -update- the driver... you have/had an nvidia driver that
was working and you're just trying to update? Do your apps work with the
"old" driver?

Have you looked in the setupapi logs? (%windir%\inf\setupapi.*.log) Not the
easiest logs to parse... you can try doing a search on nvidia or, if you
know the specific driver file name[s], you can try searching on it. (Them?)
