Microsoft Optical Desktop with fingerprint reader incompatible

Hi,
I´m using the Microsoft Optical Desktop with fingerprint reader and when i
installed Windows Vista i noticed the Digital persona software that came with
it doesnt install on vista. So now my fingerprint reader isnt working.

I was wondering if i can get a new free version of digital persona that
works with windows vista or if there is some other way to sove this issue?
