File Dialog Hangs

Hi Gurus.

Many times, when opening the Save As or Open File Dialog, the dialog
opens and immediately hangs.
It won't be released until I restart windows explorer.
This happens even when I'm connected to the LAN.

Any ideas what can cause that?

Is it a hang or is the program just slow. Sometimes problems like this are
network related and you are waiting 2 minutes or 5 minutes for the program
using File - Open to stop waiting for a non existent network resource (an
old resource perhaps). Hardware tends to time out in seconds but networks
take minutes.
