How do i change the option of double click to one click to open programmes

R/click on Desktop > select 'Personalize' > select 'Mouse' in Pointers if the
option to one/click appears select.

Many Thanks, but in the mouse option, it only gives me the option to change
double click speed, no option to select one click.

Hi brelade,

You need to go into Folder Options from within Control Panel (Classic
View) or Tools menu in Explorer. Here is a link with a screenshot to
see.

It does not. Lower down you can select single or double click to open.
