HELP with Sleep Mode
Hi Group: I'm new to the discussion Forum; My Name is Tom and I've resently
purchased a New HP Desktop with Vista Home Premium Installed and everything
is working great with the exception to the Sleep mode. I did a search and
none of th answers is close to what my PC is doing:

When I place the computer to sleep mode or ,the computer does it after (1)
hour, my PC will come back with a Black Screen and i can hear it running.
Also, I have to Control Alt Delete to bring it back from Sleep mode. Its
driving me crazy! I've checked the Devise Manager for USPB conflicts and
turned off the Weather Gaget off. Any suggestions??? Something so simple has
turned into a real nightmare for me!

Thanks Tom

Resume Fix???
Resume FIX ???
I'm on my XP IE7 PC cause my Vista PC wouldn't resume and I'm not satisfied
with Rhapsody playback
This XP PC wouldn't resume either til I disabled jusched
Start +R > msconfig > Startup > uncheck jusched
Resumes fine now!

Google says jusched calls up a Java Update Lookup which obviously is not
working right..
Why would I want to check for updates to Java every time Windows resumes
anyway???

I have the same jre-6-windows-i586.exe on both machines so I'm hopeful this
fix will also work on my Vista PC when I go back to it.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks Art

I had the same problem. Reloaded the pc, updated the video drivers, critical updates, etc... then I formatted the hard drive and loaded from scratch. Save yourself some trouble. The Nvidia 7900 gs Video card was bad. Dell replaced the card and it is running fine now.
