Filemanager replacement
Has anyone found a file manager that acts similar to the one in XP for
Vista? Freeware? I can't stand the new FM (and neither could most of the
beta testers - makes you wonder who drives the feature set!)

Re: Filemanager replacement
I have been using Total Commander for about 8 years now. The latest version
6.56 works fine with Vista. It is an application I paid for 8 years ago and
I have been getting updates ever since. If you don't pay/register the
application, you are presented with a short nag screen every time you start
the program. Other than that, it is still fully functions.

For some procedures you will have to start the program in Administrator
Mode.
