backup to dvd froze. after 3 hrs only 1/2 the dvd written to.
I tried Vista backup for the first time. The system told me this was
my first backup so it would save all files. It initialized the DVD.
The "copy to DVD" window was showing names of files being copied. But
eventually the display only said "backing up to D: ", with no file
names and no sign of progress. I killed it after about 3 hours.
Looking at the DVD disk itself, it is about half written to.

Is there a history log I can display to see if there were any errors?

thanks,

Hi,
And why don't you use some special software to 'backup to dvd'
(http://www.handybackup.net/backup-to-dvd.shtml)? I tested lots of them
and found out that they can be quite useful - stuff like GBM, YTrue
Image, etc? The most of them support Vista OS today.
I encountered numerous problems with original Vista backups, so decided
to use those or burn files to dvd manually.
