Default Weather Gadget Stopped Working

I have read 30+ postings on this subject from all over. When I first added
the gadget to my sidebar, it seemed to work just great. I searched for my
location, found it, and displayed accurate weather information. After a
couple of days, I noticed it was displaying the same temperature all day
long. I tried switching to 10 different locations from San Francisco, CA to
Lansing, MI, keep getting message, "Service Not Available." I've tried all
suggestions given so far, if there is anyone that reads these that actually
knows what's going on, please help. Also, I wiped the default weather gadget
out and tried using weatherbug gadget, worked for 10 minutes, now it's not
displaying any weather images, all I get is a placeholder where a sun or
cloud should be with an x in it.

Mine stopped working too. It correctly changed from day to
night but the temperature just stopped changing.

I just gave up on it though.
