Start Menu: Remove yellow highlights from new items?

How do you remove the yellow highlights from new programs and folders in the
Vista start menu? Is there any way to disable this feature?

Hello,

- right-click a blank area of your task bar
- click properties
- click the start menu tab
- click customize...
- uncheck "Highlight newly installed programs"

Right-click on the Start button, select Properties
Customize
uncheck "Highlight newly installed programs"
OK
