Actually, I've got 10 Vista Upgrade licenses, and I wanted to use the
virgin install method. I also tried to call after not entering the key
and they would not accept it (and I didn't really expect them too).
I started the Upgrade install over top the non-key install at 6:28PM, on
a Dual Xeon 2.6ghz machine with 4GB RAM, and I'm just nearing the point
where it is letting me start using the machine - about 45 minutes later.
So, take the first 45 minutes that it took to install and the second 45
minutes it took to upgrade that install, and we're about the same time I
expected it would take.
So, the me install without using the key, then upgrade using the key,
works perfectly.
